CELL PHONES, LAND LINES, TEXT AND INSTANT MESSAGES
The people that visit on planet Earth have a real love/ hate relationship with our ability to communicate. We try to discover every method and device to make contact with anyone that we want, anytime that we want , as fast and as easily as we can. We find profound joy and pride in speaking our mind, ( even though God created us and our brain and every thought there ever was and will be, we just borrow it while we are here.) Then we seldom truly listen to anything that others have to say. If we want them to listen to the stuff that we are so proud to speak, why is it that we choose not to listen to others? This is, of course, unless they are saying something that we want to hear, like a compliment or “here’s a lot of money for you.” The money thing, the tokens, we use these to buy stuff, remember?
The Bad Guys have many people convinced that this is the reason for our visit here. BUT, we hate it when someone calls us to try to get us to spend money and love it (kind of) when we do one of our favorite pastimes and shop. People call us to shop. We call them to shop. We go online to shop. How much easier could all of this get? How convenient, idol worship on the phone, our phone, which is now a computer going online and if we say yes, then it will be delivered to our door. Even if we don’t have enough tokens, if we wait a call or two, someone will offer us a credit card if we promise our future earnings, ( hours of our time here given to them plus a whole lot extra.)
We don’t just use these devices to shop. We can now call anyone the very instant that we are MAD at them. Why think about it? Go ahead and say now all of the things that we will regret later after we have had time to think about it. Better yet, maybe we will get their voice mail. This is usually discouraging because we want to talk to the real person because, remember, we are so proud of what comes out of our mouths and we are MAD! Now in this case we have no fear ! Let the evil pour out ! No one will respond, fight back or …cry. At least not to us. We will not see the pain we are inflicting. We won’t see our path of destruction. There are truly times that we do want to talk to that person and get a hold of them. I know, I’ve seen it in the store while people are shopping, spending tokens, fighting with someone on the phone. They must not care that everyone sees this unfortunate and ugly moment. All of the people on the Good Guys’ team don’t like to hear these harsh words. Shop and chop at the same time. Two very destructive things that the Bad Guys have convinced so many, that are necessary and good to do.
Spiritually wise people on the Good Guys’ team speak little to say much. We try to resolve problems in a peaceful and intelligent way. We believe in the “real” text message found in the Pamphlet( the Bible). We believe in heartfelt communications with the ones that we love. This should be everyone, love one another, remember? Each and every day may be our last here on Earth. We use speech as our opportunity to say something wonderful perhaps love for God, Christ and all others. We try to help with our words, not hurt. We try to show people the ideas of the Pamphlet( the Bible), love, peace all of it.
The people on the Good Guy’s team also know all about instant messenger. It is promised in the Pamphlet. It is constant communication from the Holy Spirit. People in the neutral zone call it “the little voice from inside”.” a gut feeling”, “ this gnawing at me”, “my intuition”, ” something told me”, or ” I just knew”. They don’t give the Good Guys credit for it, they don’t realize where it came from. BE WARNED there is always interference and interceptions of communications in the neutral zone. The Bad Guys will use every method to screw up our visit here. Garbled, confused, unheard words, and flat out lies will an dropped calls come our way. All of these designed to bring Hell into our lives. lf we are on the Good Guy’s team, all of these tricks are ineffective. We have a private line to our personal Savior. We may open a party line in group prayer and it is still out of bounds for the Bad Guys. This line is called the Holy Spirit, one of the Good Guys.
As obsessed as we are with all of our methods of communication, it seems crazy that we so often ignore the ultimate best. The battery is never dead. We don’t need to sign a contract, and all minutes are free. It is a 24/7 operation, and we get reception everywhere on Earth with no roaming or long distance charges. The Holy Spirit will call us when the need is there, just hoping we will listen. Don’t switch to voice mail in these cases. This line will provide us with all of the right answers. The results sometimes take quite a long time to show up, but we all say ” Thank God, I followed that feeling”. Now that we know, we can say this and mean it. We need to know that even though the Bad Guys can’t interfere, they can listen in. Be sure we choose for all of our reception to be from the Holy Spirit and not the words of the Bad Guys. Maybe someday we will have discovered enough of the Good Guy’s knowledge to communicate our true heart, our true thoughts openly and honestly to others.
We will SAY WHAT WE MEAN AND MEAN WHAT WE SAY WITH LOVE.
Maybe we will also look at these cell phones and other devices as antiquated. We look back at other visitors in the past drawings on cave walls, smoke signals, drum beats. messages in bottles, homing pigeons, pony express services, and telegraphs, as primitive. Those visitors never would have dreamed of the things that the Good Guys allow us to know today. Nor would they ever dream that we would have lost so many face to face communication skills or the ugly, painful things that we are willing to say to each other. Would they regret trying so hard in a life that was so hard just to make it better for us if they saw the way we treat each other? What would they say about what we say, about what we text? That is something to think about.
It is exciting to think of what is next on this journey to the best communication. It is great to see the ultimate network every day, everywhere, the Holy Spirit. Can we imagine all of the stops we have ahead of us on this train of discovery? Isn’t it just great to have the perfect communication, the Holy Spirit on the way there?

Acts 15:8
God, who knows men’s’ hearts, confirmed the fact that he accepts Gentiles by giving them the Holy Spirit. Just as he gave him to us. He made no distinctions between them and us, for he cleansed their lives through faith, just as he did ours.
Romans 5;5
Then when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel His warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.

Ephesians 4;30
Don’t cause the Holy Spirit sorrow by the way you live, Remember, he is the one who marks you to be present on that day when salvation from sin will be complete. Stop being mean, bad tempered and angry. Quarreling, harsh words and dislike of others should have no place in our lives. Instead be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you because you belong to Christ.
