It was just on the news that several Pastors came out against Gay marriage but what I need to know is WHY NOW? Not why now about gay marriage, but WHY NOW about standing up for Christ, God’s truth and the members of your congregations that have given you the opportunity to lead them. So again I ask, WHY NOW? What was the tipping point? I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT YOU DID! Thank you very much. I love our Father, Christ, the Holy Spirit and all of God’s truth, His love and apparently you do to, but WHY NOW? I realize that the straw that breaks the camel’s back is no different than the one s that went before. That one straw is no fatter, no heavier, no longer than all of the ones that preceded it, but what is so special about this one? WHY NOW?
Even though I don’t know you personally, Pastors, I can imagine that you have been just as saddened and frustrated with everything that has become so acceptable in today’s society as all true Christians. People call Christ a liar every time they think these things are okay. Then they think that is okay to call Christ a liar because he forgives that too right? Wrong! Only if we are sorry and change! If we love Christ we will obey him and our Father. ( John 14;21) These Pastors have watched as sex without marriage( between man and woman) has become the norm and even taught to our kids even though Christ said , “ No.” ( Mark 7;20-23). ( Deuteronomy 4;9 11;18-21)
Pastors, you must have been heart broken as those that HAVE money and those that do NOT are so obsessed with getting it, having it and all the stuff it buys that they have chosen the “ other master”. (Matthew 6;24) . They still think that they are Christian, but they are lost. They just want the good life, right? Wrong. So many have followed a carrot hung 3 feet in front of their face and never to be captured and have fallen for lies and empty promises of political groups. ( Ephesians 5;5-9) ( Colossians 3;11) These same groups say that its okay to kill our children in the womb. God’s children, His most beloved are killed for careers, money/ lifestyle, partying, money. (Ecclesiastes 11;5) We have participated in human extermination of God given life for money and let politicians lead us into this hell by not only telling us its okay, but if we’re too broke, here’s some tax payer funds to pay for it. All children are victims, but Children with brown skin are more likely to be sucked out of their home and into a million pieces of mush for what? What crime did these people commit that we have killed them before they have begun? Do they just want them dead?
( Deuteronomy 24; 16) They are the ‘least of the least,’ the most innocent? ( Matthew 25; 34-46) ( Ezekiel 23;37-39) Pastors, you have had such a hard job in today’s world so what made the difference now? WHY NOW?`
Pastors, please share your challenges and the answers God has given you. Show us your path, your thought process so many of us can see a way out of our own acceptance of evil. Please humble yourself not only before God but before the rest of us as we are all told to and as you do every day as you try to help your members of your church. Deuteronomy 4;9– “ But watch out! Be very careful never forget what you have seen God doing for you. may His miracles have a deep and permanent effect upon your lives! Tell your children and your grandchildren about the glorious miracle He did.”
Deuteronomy 11;18-21– So keep these commandments carefully in mind. Tie them to your hand to remind you to obey them, and tie them to your forehead between your eyes! Teach them to your children. Talk about them when your are sitting at home, when you are out walking, at bedtime and before breakfast! Write them upon the doors of your houses and upon your gates, so that as long as there is sky above the earth, you and your children will enjoy the good life awaiting for you in the land the Lord has promised you.
MATTHEW 6;24– “ You cannot serve two masters: God and money. For you will hate one and love the other or the other way around.” SAID JESUS CHRIST
Ephesians 5; 5-9– You can be sure of this; the Kingdom of Christ and of God will never belong to anyone who is impure or greedy, for a greedy person is really an idol worshiper- he loves and worships the good things in life more than God. Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for a terrible wrath of God is upon all those who do them. Don’t even associate with such people. For though once your heart was full of darkness, now it is full of light from the Lord and your behavior should show it! Because of the light within you, you should always do only what is good right and true.
Colossians 3;11– In this new life one’s nationality or race or education or social position is unimportant; such things mean nothing. Whether a person has Christ is what matters, and he is equally available to all.
Ecclesiastes 11;5– God’s ways are as mysterious as the pathway of the wind, and the manner in which the human spirit is infused into the body of a baby while it is in its mother’s womb.
Deuteronomy 24;16 “ Fathers shall not be put to death for the sins of their sons nor the sons for the sins of their fathers; every man worthy of death shall be executed for his own crime.”
MATTHEW 25; 34-46 “ Then I, the King shall say to those at my right, ‘ Come, blessed of my Father into the Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world. For I was hungry and you fed me; I was thirsty and you gave me water; I was a stranger and you invited me into your homes; naked and you clothed me; sick and in prison and you visited me.’
“ Then the righteous ones will reply, ‘Sir, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you anything to drink? Or a stranger, and help you? Or naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick and in prison, and visit you?’
“ And I the King will tell them. ‘ When you did it to my brothers you were doing it to me! Then I will turn to on my left and say, ‘ Away with you , you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and demons. For I was hungry and you wouldn’t feed me; thirsty and you wouldn’t give me anything to drink; a stranger, and you refused me hospitality, naked and you wouldn’t clothe me; sick and in prison and you wouldn’t visit me.
“ Then they will reply. “ Lord when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick and in prison and not help you?’
“ And I will answer, ‘When you refused to help even the least of these my brothers, you were refusing to help me.’
“ And they shall go away into eternal punishment; but the righteous into everlasting life.”
Ezekiel 23; 37-39 – For they have committed both adultery and murder, they have worshiped idols and murdered my children whom they bore to me, burning sacrifices at their altars. On the same day they defiled my Temple and ignored my Sabbaths, for when they murdered their children in front of their idols, then even that same day they actually came into my Temple to worship! That is how much regard they have for me!
Ephesians 5;5…- ……a greedy person is really an idol worshiper- he loves and worships the good things in life more than God.
