C.I.V.
The Christian Independent Voter. C.I.V. pronounced like sieve. Yes a sieve to strain out all of the crap told to us by people with no intention of following through. A sieve serves to filter out all of the stench” We are told to be part of ” NO nation” so you gotta know a political subdivision of that nation is not where our loyalty should be placed either.
Our loyalty is with God and His truth and all of His people. Still we should always be a voice that is heard and be an example for all of our love for Christ and each other. As Christian Independent Voters we can simply put forth a questionnaire each election and candidates can choose to fill them out or not. #1 Do you respect the sanctity of life from conception until natural death? Yes or No #2 Do you believe in the inalienable rights granted by our creator of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Yes or No #3 Do you believe we should help those in true need and also help people experience the full success of their own capability and contributions Yes or No…..etc.
Will some lie? Yep, count on it. Will some not answer? Yep count on it. This will represent what Christians are looking for out of representatives and hopefully we will vote wisely. We as Christians know that God delivers governments for lessons , examples and purposes unknown to us. Some lessons are profound examples of how NOT to be.
Yet, we have faith in God’s plan and know we need to do the right things as we were told because each of us can serve a purpose no less important than the next…. if we so choose.
1 Timothy 2;2-4
Pray in this way for kings and all others who are in authority over us, or are in places of high responsibility, so that we can live in peace and quietness, spending our time in godly living and thinking much about the Lord. This is good and pleases God our Savior.
MARK 10;31
“All these will be His (followers) here on Earth, and in the world to come , He shall have eternal life. But many people who seem important now will be the least important then; and many who are considered the least important here shall be greatest there..” said Jesus Christ
